A full session at Lake Tuz — a vast white mirror stretching to the horizon. We chase the reflections at golden hour and the pink water at sunset. A two-hour shoot that feels like another planet.
Details
Salt Lake is our most immersive full-day experience. The drive from Cappadocia is approximately two hours each way — plan for a full day. On location, we shoot for one and a half to two hours.
We prefer sunset timing at Salt Lake — the golden hour and blue hour overlap here, painting the sky in deep pinks and purples that reflect across the salt flats.
The look of the lake changes dramatically with the weather. On dry days, the ground is pure white salt. After light rain, it becomes a mirror. Heavy rain can make the location unusable. We always check conditions before confirming — if Salt Lake isn't at its best, we'll tell you.
